As a result of the downward spiral within which the Marlboro South area was trapped, the landowners established a non-profit Section 21 Company, known as the Marlboro South Industrial Business Forum (MIBF) in order to address this problem and approach the Council with a view to change the negative trend in the area.
In August 1996, a firm of attorneys appointed by the MIBF, wrote a letter to the Council, detailing the problems
in the Council and requesting immediate action in this regard. The letter is included hereunder, the name of the attorney has been left out:
To date the Council has not responded and neglected the township in virtually all respects.
